Team composition

Each team shall have 2-4 litigators and 1 mediator, thus the minimum number of team members is 3 students. The litigators act as counsel (1^st chair, 2^nd chair for speakers) during litigation, and they play the roles of client and attorney during the mediation proceedings. Switching chairs and client/attorney roles from round to round is acceptable for the litigators. Whereas the mediator is identified at the registration stage and may not switch their role with other team members ever since. The maximum size of any team is thus 5 members excluding coaches and/or academic advisors.

A team may have up to 2 coaches and/or academic advisors, who do not take any part in the drafting of memoranda, nor shall they help their team members during litigation and mediation.

Any changes in the composition of a registered team without the Organizer's prior consent are possible only before the expiry of the registration period and upon written notification of the Organizer. Approval of any other structural changes in teams is subject to the sole discretion of the Organizer.
